Concrete Breaking
and Removal - We'll break it up and take it away
Above, our compact skid steer loader equipped with a hydraulic hammer is being used to break up a concrete walkway in preparation for a new foundation drain. This house in Montville, NJ sits deep below a steep grade. Our exterior foundation drain will be installed to relieve the hydrostatic pressure buildup that is forcing water to infiltrate the old cinder blocks.
This
shopping center in Hopatcong, NJ is being
prepared for a new pavingstone walkway
as part of routine upgrades. Bobcats
for Hire had been chosen to complete
this removal project for a number of
reasons. One of the reasons certainly
was related to our experience in completing
this task as quickly as possible while
minimizing disruption to the businesses
which remained open during the concrete
removal. Four twenty cubic yard containers
were loaded up and removed in a single
day due to our multiple specialized machines
and dedicated crew 's efforts.
Our compact, yet powerful 864 track
loader with large hydraulic hammer
is easily able to fit underneath
this low overhang where larger equipment
could not operate.
To
the right and below are typical residential
patios that had been broken up using
our 864 Bobcat track loader and Hydraulic
hammer. This patio and walkway
was removed to allow for the installation
of a foundation drain and new leader
drains to cure
a flooding basement. Our

driveway.We
then loaded the debris into containers
for removal and recycling (below).

this property changed hands, the new
owners required a different style sign
for their business needs, subsequently
which rendering the existing foundation
useless. The company installing new
signs hired us to remove the very large
concrete footing and then to excavate
for the installation of a new footing. We
then loaded the debris into containers
for removal and recycling. The Soprano's was later filmed at this location in Fairfield.

This
driveway in Montclair, New Jersey belonged
to a house that was over 100 years
old. As part of a total renovation,
the property owner knew that a new
driveway would add value to his property
and subsequently increase the rents
that he would be collecting. Bobcats
for Hire came in to break up and remove
the old concrete driveway and also
to rebuild the tall retaining wall
at the rear of the driveway. This owner
chose RR tie as the material to build
his wall because RR ties are an economical
alternative to stone walls in an area
that is not visible to the home.
Following
the demolition of the concrete driveway,
our Bobcat 864 loader equipped with pallet
forks was used to load containers for
removal and recycling (right).
