An Interior French Drain installed by a large National company     This house has an interior style drain installed along the floor of the basement which allows water to drain in through the exterior walls and drip into the sump pit where it will be pumped outside. The installers even drilled a hole in the wall to allow the water that filled up the window well to drain into the sump pit. Note the scaling of the paint and signs of water, mold, and moisture along the basement walls. This basement needs a dehumidifyer and sump pump because of the water draining inside, which adds to operating costs over the life of this "system". If you plan to finish your basement, ask yourself if you want this type of system, or would you rather have protection from PARASEAL Membrane controlling the water from the outside?
